• Full-time Float Member Relations Specialist/Teller - South

The County Federal Credit Union is seeking a positive and ambitious individual to join our team! We have a Full-time Float Teller/Member Relations Specialist position available amongst our southern branches.

This position is responsible for promoting our products and services to all members, processing member transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other cash/check transactions), ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently in accordance with our balancing procedures, and providing exceptional member service. • Branch Manager - Houlton

The County Federal Credit Union has an opening for a Full-Time Branch Manager/Loan Officer in the Houlton branch.

The right candidate must be able to efficiently assist with the management of a branch’s daily operations. Assist in training and supervision, and meet established goals. Promote a positive culture through coaching, guidance, and staff motivation. Interact with members on escalated issues, utilize resources, and provide resolutions within their authorization level.

The ability to motivate or influence others is the material part of the job, requiring significant diplomacy and trust. Outside contacts become important, and fostering sound relationships with other entities, companies, individuals, and groups is necessary.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  1. Underwrite consumer and mortgage loans within assigned lending limits.
  2. Hire, review, schedule, train, and monitor the work of Branch personnel.
  3. Solicit new residential mortgages, consumer and commercial business loans, and cross-sell CFCU loans and deposit products to meet member quality standards.
  4. Network in the Presque Isle community to develop new long-term, mutually beneficial relationships, promoting the credit union’s products and services to increase deposits, consumer, real estate, and small business loan relationships through a consultative selling approach.
  5. Respond to Member inquiries and referrals. Conduct interviews with prospective borrowers to analyze financial and credit data, determine customer financing objectives, advise customers of product/pricing policies and guidelines, and gather any additional required information.
  6. Monitor Branch operating results against established objectives and ensure appropriate steps are taken to address unsatisfactory conditions.
  7. Ability to step in and perform the essential duties of all branch personnel in their absence, including occasional closing shifts and weekend shifts when needed.
  8. Ability to perform Notarial Acts.
  9. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Internal Review Assistant - Presque Isle

The Internal Review Assistant will assist the Enterprise Risk and Internal Audit Officer. Through continuous review cycles, this position identifies internal controls to provide adequate safeguards, ensuring the credit union’s general operating efficiency and compliance with laws, regulations, managerial policies, and generally accepted accounting principles.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for completing reviews as assigned by the Internal Audit Officer.
  2. Gather and analyze data and report review findings.
  3. Responsible for interviewing credit union staff as needed to gather relevant information to complete assignments.
  4. Communicate information, suggestions, and/or problems regarding review status and critical findings throughout the assignments to the Internal Audit Officer.
  5. Create all work papers to show what was done, the procedures and methods used, and the conclusion or the results of the work performed in an organized manner.
  6. Conforms to departmental standards, guidelines, programs, and protocols.
  7. Timely and accurate completion of periodic reviews.
  8. Responsibilities include traveling to branches for cash audits.
  9. Maintain the confidential nature of all work papers and information obtained during a review.
  10. All other duties that may be assigned.
  11. Physical Requirements: Sitting (5-8 hours per day), frequent use of hands to manipulate/grasp objects, frequent use of fingers for keyboarding, ability to communicate on the phone with members and staff, occasional bending and lifting from floor height, frequent forward reach, occasional lifting of 15lbs – 25lbs, walking distance of 20 feet inside and outside branch throughout the workweek, walking up and down stairs.
• Human Resources Manager - Presque Isle

The County FCU is actively looking for a Human Resources Manager at our Presque Isle Operations Center. This individual will ensure that personnel and training functions are applied uniformly, operate in accordance with established policies and guidelines, and comply with regulations. Activities include recruitment and staffing, employee relations, benefit administration, salary administration, employee orientation, and regulatory compliance relative to personnel, pay, and benefits.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Prepare time and attendance records for payroll. Review payroll output and maintain benefit records for each employee.
  2. Create and maintain HR reports in HRIS, including status reports and compensation analyses.
  3. Interview prospective employees along with management for hourly and salary jobs, refer applicants to specific job openings, administer pre-employment tests, check references, process changes in employment status, and conduct exit interviews. Prepare employment offers in coordination with the President/CEO, ensuring compensation is within the job grade’s hiring range, and deliver the offer as needed.
  4. Conduct new employee orientation and collect new employee paperwork.
  5. Administer the organization’s benefit programs, such as health, disability, life, 401 (k), and other benefits. Consult with and advise employees on their eligibility for these and other related benefits.
  6. Maintain benefit records and documents necessary for implementing benefit coverage.
  7. Maintain and distribute plan documents and materials required to implement benefit coverage.
  8. Recommend changes or additions to the program to reflect the employee and the organization’s needs.
  9. Assures compliance with all legal requirements of various employee benefit programs and prepares and files all reports.
  10. Process and handle all Worker’s Compensation and Report of Accident reporting and claims. Act as a primary liaison between the organization and agencies.
  11. Maintain all personnel files and records for the organization.
  12. Assist the Training Manager, as needed, with the use of training programs, such as the BAI Training Program.
  13. Monitor EEOC, ADA, COBRA, HIPPA, ERISA, FLSA, PFMLA, FMLA, and any other state or federal compliance issues.
  14. Effectively supervise personnel, ensuring optimal performance, and provide leadership to personnel through effective goal setting, delegation, and communication.
  15. Conduct performance appraisals as required and take corrective actions if needed.
  16. Assist with Executive Assistant duties as needed.
  17. Ability to perform Notarial Acts.
  18.
