We have a Full-time Vault Teller position available at our Howland branch.

This position is responsible for promoting our products and services to all members, processing member transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other cash/check transactions), ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently within our balancing procedures, and providing exceptional member service. The successful candidate will have a positive, friendly, professional attitude and appearance. Reliable transportation and attendance are a must, along with weekend availability.

Vault tellers are expected to be currency experts. Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to overseeing the daily operations of the vault, ensuring secure and compliant storage of branch currency, fulfill distribution of currency requests to tellers, place and process currency order, prepares shipping of currency to the Fed Reserve to maintain acceptable branch cash levels, balance and maintain cash and coin vaults, balance and replenishment of ATM, balance and maintain coin counter.

Assist Member Service Center Representatives with incoming phone call overflow. Adhere to and enforce all security procedures as well as other departmental policies and procedures.

The County Federal Credit Union is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced supervisory role as Head Teller in our Caribou branch. The successful applicant must enjoy working with the public, motivating and challenging staff in a professional and positive environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive and process member financial transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; sell money to members; and transfers.
• Balance cash drawer and daily transactions.
• Provide routine information about services and direct members to the appropriate departments for specific details and assistance.
• Schedule and monitor daily activity of Member Relations Specialists (Tellers).
• Train, direct, and evaluate employee performance on Member Relations Specialists line.
• Identify performance issues and take corrective action.
• Monitor Member Relations Specialists’ line for compliance with established policies and regulations; take action to resolve any compliance issues.
• Order and maintain the cash and coin vault as well as balance and maintain the ATM.
• Complete the monthly Branch Security Report.
• Promote credit union products and services.
• Other duties assigned by management.

The County Federal Credit Union has an opening for a Full-Time Branch Manager/Loan Officer in the Houlton branch.

The right candidate must be able to efficiently assist with the management of a branch’s daily operations. Assist in training and supervision, and meet established goals. Promote a positive culture through coaching, guidance, and staff motivation. Interact with members on escalated issues, utilize resources, and provide resolutions within their authorization level.

The ability to motivate or influence others is the material part of the job, requiring significant diplomacy and trust. Outside contacts become important, and fostering sound relationships with other entities, companies, individuals, and groups is necessary.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

1. Underwrite consumer and mortgage loans to established lending limits as assigned.
2. Hire, review, schedule, train, and monitor the work of Branch personnel.
3. Solicit new residential mortgages, consumer and commercial business loans, and cross-sell CFCU loans and deposit products to meet member quality standards.
4. Network in the Presque Isle community to develop new long-term, mutually beneficial relationships, promoting the credit union’s products and services to increase deposits, consumer, real estate, and small business loan relationships through a consultative selling approach.
5. Respond to Member inquiries and referrals. Conduct interviews with prospective borrowers to analyze financial and credit data, determine customer financing objectives, advise customers of product/pricing policies and guidelines, and gather any additional required information.
6. Monitor Branch operating results against established objectives and ensure appropriate steps are taken to address unsatisfactory conditions.
7. Ability to step in and perform the essential duties of all branch personnel in their absence, including occasional closing shifts and weekend shifts when needed.
8. Ability to perform Notarial Acts.
9. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Ensure employees meet goals and educate members on appropriate products and services. Actively train on policy and procedure updates and changes to ensure compliance.  Must have excellent organizational as well as oral and written communication skills.
