Each year The County FCU awards $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school students within the credit union’s field of membership. Candidates are evaluated on the basis of financial need, academic performance as shown by high school records, extracurricular activities, length of credit union membership, and evidence of strong character and motivation as seen in the student’s life outside the school. Applications are also available in all local high school guidance offices. Criteria and eligibility for the scholarship can be found in this PDF.
The deadline for completed applications is Thursday, May 1, 2025.
